Yesterday, I embarked on a scenic drive around the captivating Coromandel Peninsula, starting my journey in the charming town of Thames. First stop? A renovation project at a vintage Villa that has me bursting with excitement to share the progress with you all soon!
Next, I hit the road along the breathtaking Coromandel coast, soaking in the stunning views as I made my way to Opito. There, I met with a fearless and fabulous client to discuss her new build and the exquisite kitchen design for her bay-facing home. The anticipation in the air is palpable – truly exhilarating times!
My adventure continued as I arrived in Whitianga, where I caught up with some enthusiastic clients knee-deep in their own DIY home renovation. Every visit brings new surprises, from tiles being lifted to kitchen cabinets disappearing! Despite the pressure to design amidst the chaos, I thrive on the energy of clients who are eager to witness their homes undergo stunning transformations, even rolling up their sleeves to get the job done.
After a productive day, I indulged in a well-deserved pampering session at the Whiti Beauty Salon – because, why not? The results? Absolutely stunning nails!
True to form, I couldn't resist stopping in Tairua to reconnect with nature, sinking my toes into the warm sands, and immersing myself in the tranquil sounds and scents of the ocean. It's moments like these that fill me with gratitude for the opportunity to offer my design services amidst the breathtaking beauty of the Coromandel Peninsula. What an absolute honor!
I'm incredibly passionate about what I do, and being able to do it here in the Coromandel only enhances the experience.
Of course, every paradise has its challenges, like navigating through the constant roadworks that peppered my journey. But amidst the delays, I couldn't help but feel grateful for the improvements taking place.
And let's not forget our little slice of heaven in Ngatea! Our studio provides a convenient pit stop for clients traveling to and from their beachside retreats, complete with a stunning kitchen showroom and the expertise of Malcolm and the team to tackle any building and joinery queries – talk about lucky!
